Ok, new goal: Actually pick up a decent book and read it.
It’s not that I haven’t been reading lately. I’ve read two novels in the past couple weeks, but they were both really crappy, and not in a way that’s worth writing up. I even saw a book-based movie that I don’t have any particular feelings about.
I finally picked up something I knew would be good (Good Omens / Neil Gaiman ; Terry Pratchett) and I’m about 50 pages from the end. So that’ll come up soon.
But seriously, what a failed month in the book department! Reading bad books makes me less inclined to do anything but sit around and go to bed early. Luckily, I’m leaving town in three days, so I’ll have lots of airport time. Here’s to getting back on the horse!
